WHO WE ARE

The Singapore Business Network on Disability (SBNoD) is a community of businesses across industries in Singapore, united by a shared commitment to advancing the equitable inclusion of persons with disabilities. We believe our organisations reflect the diverse communities we are part of. By sharing expertise, networks, and resources, we create the conditions for meaningful change — not just within our own walls, but across the broader business landscape.

Since our founding in 2015, we have grown into a trusted peer network where members learn from one another, hold each other accountable, and take concrete steps toward a more inclusive Singapore.

Our Charter

As our network has matured, so has our understanding of where businesses can make the greatest difference. Our charter has evolved to reflect this: while disability awareness and community engagement remain essential foundations, we recognise that sustained employment opportunity is where inclusion becomes real.
Our work is guided by three pillars, with employment at the centre.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

We believe that every person with a disability deserves the opportunity to contribute, grow, and thrive in the workplace. Member companies commit to embedding inclusion across the full employee lifecycle, from how we recruit, to how we onboard, develop, and retain talent with disabilities.
This means reviewing recruitment channels and processes, adapting physical and digital workplaces, designing roles and structures that enable participation, and equipping managers and colleagues to lead inclusively.

DISABILITY AWARENESS

Inclusion begins with understanding. Member companies take active steps to build awareness of disability within their organisations, fostering dialogue, challenging assumptions, and creating cultures where persons with disabilities are seen, heard, and valued.
Awareness is not a one-time effort. It is the ongoing work of shifting mindsets so that employment opportunity can take root and last.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

We engage beyond our own organisations, connecting with disability communities, social service agencies, educational institutions, and government partners. These relationships deepen our understanding, expand our reach, and ensure our efforts are grounded in the real experiences of persons with disabilities.
Together, we build a business community that does not just respond to inclusion, but actively drives it.
